The Role

Do you live and breathe content? Do you wake up in the morning looking forward to the next content project to tackle? If your answer is yes, then we want you! We are looking for an energetic, experienced, and customer-centric content marketer with a proven track record in content ideation, creation, and promotion across offline and online/digital channels, including web pages, collateral, articles, white papers, videos, podcasts, infographics, social, syndication, etc. You must have a solid understanding of content marketing, the customer-buying journey, inbound marketing, and demand generation, preferably across a portfolio of technology products in B2B companies.

In this role, you will work across different product portfolios and collaborate with cross-functional teams from brand, campaign, and product marketing, to web, social media, AR/PR, sales, and more. In addition, you will align with different regions and field marketing teams in supporting global content needs and execution.

You should have strong fundamentals of content production, including stellar writing and editing skills across multiple mediums. You must be collaborative, organized, detail oriented, and be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while being on budget and on time. You should also have experience managing and coaching vendors and agencies.


  • Define content goals and desired outcomes based on business objectives and campaign priorities. Translate our value proposition into content themes and assets that drive awareness and increase engagement and conversion.

  • Build content and promotion plans, including mapping content for digital channels - syndication, paid search, and social media - with a focus on content reuse and optimization.

  • Develop and/or partner and work with vendors/agencies to successfully produce content. Drive continuous innovation in evolving formats most effective at engaging our target audience.

  • Ensure content provides clear benefits to the target audience, conveys brand, and meets high quality standards.

  • Build solid understanding of Hitachi Vantara product and solutions portfolios to provide oversight and guidance in creating and distributing content.

  • Partner with campaign teams to create and optimize content assets to significantly increase campaign effectiveness, lead generation and conversion.

  • Establish content KPIs and measure channel effectiveness across all content and digital activities.


  • 10 years of marketing experience, preferably in high tech companies.

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field required.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and influence indirectly.

  • Strong organization skills, with a keen eye towards detail.

  • Ability to juggle and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • A creative thinker who enjoys a fast-paced environment.

  • Previous experience in enterprise IT industry is a plus.
