About This Job: * Works with Commercial Unit Head or Territory Marketing Head to develop Go To Market strategies for target segments

  • Defines marketing communication strategy (e.g., media mix, budget allocation across services)

  • Prioritize campaigns and resource allocation in line with overall strategy, oversees the execution of marketing campaigns Accountabilities

  • Develop and monitor market intelligence, bringing in customer and competitor insight into Territory strategy and marketing plan

  • In conjunction with Pricing Operations ensure optimal price positioning to target grower segments and a rebate structure that is aligned with channel strategy

  • Drive excellence in campaigns

  • Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns (crop/channel/grower)

  • Overview effectiveness of campaigns in season and post campaign review against objectives

  • Drive excellence in channel management

  • Lead channel and grower segmentation process and work with Commercial Unit Heads to develop Go To Market strategies that provide a clear line of sight from Syngenta to the target grower segments

  • Ensure delivery of grower and channel value proposition incl. incentives (KPIs) in line with channel roles, needs & capabilities.

  • Optimize marketing communications investment to achieve net promoter targets within agreed budget

  • Lead and develop the Country Marketing team, where applicable

    Min. 10-15 years of experience working in the AG industry Experience in the application of crop agronomics and technologies and their contribution to the financial drivers of a grower's business Effective management of high achieving teams Demonstrated capability in agronomy excellence and applying capabilities to support commercial operations.

    Significant background and/or education in crop agronomy or related field Sound understanding of the seed industry, crop protection, seedcare, and on the farm activities Well-rounded understanding of commercial and product development concepts Deep knowledge and understanding of crop agronomics Understanding of key marketing and sales processes Understand long term technical concept positioning whilst being able to deliver upon short term campaign imperatives
