Purpose of Role

Responsible for the effective development, execution and measurement of marketing strategy and activities focusing on the Experian solutions across all business lines across South East Asia. CANDIDATE PROFILE The successful candidate must have a deep understanding of marketing planning strategy, marketing governance and able to collaborate with senior business leaders, sales, product and client services professionals.

The ideal candidate will be able to develop and interpret business and product strategy into market engagement with clients and prospects via a client centric marketing plan by key priority markets. The candidate will be skilled at marketing planning, delivering integrated targeted end-to-end campaigns from value proposition developments to generate brand awareness, sales opportunities and client engagement. The candidate will need to be able to develop plans and approaches in the go to market as well as execute campaigns and programs delivered by regional and global marketer across key markets in South East Asia.

We are looking for someone who;

  • Has demonstrable experience of strategic marketing planning, developing and executing demand generation programs that positively impact the company strategy and associated financial goals

  • Working with local and global marketing, partner and product teams, develop content for all communications including; prospecting and customer email campaigns, newsletter communications (internal and external), blog, social media and third party promotions channels.

  • Leverage content provided by our regional and corporate marketing teams and drive marketing strategy ensuring it is presented to and consumed by the right audiences on line.

  • Aligning with propositions and sales, develop segmented audience communications, prioritising how and what to sell to each audience segment and via what channel, to deliver new business meetings, engagement and drive opportunity identification and ultimately pipeline

  • Liaise with all global stakeholders to understand brand guidelines, ensuring adherence at a local level.

  • Ensure all internal and external facing materials meet brand standards appropriately representing the Experian brand in the market.

  • Drive collaboration and engagement with sales leaders and sales people to achieve goals & targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive marketing planning strategically to develop marketing plans for the key priority South East Asia markets

  • Develop and manage marketing campaigns from inception through to delivery and post-campaign review, with a deep understanding of data driven marketing techniques.

  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of all campaigns with the intention of developing insights.

  • Develop and manage relationships with affiliates to maximize lead generation.

  • Be the marketing governance lead in the team to ensure compliance to various corporate policies

  • Lead the sponsorships portfolio to drive brand awareness in the region

  • Partner HR to give strategic input on employee communication and review internal communications from a brand perspective

  • Champion a culture where the fair treatment of customers is at the heart of the Experian business. Ensure that by leading by example, you adhere to all regulatory requirements and apply appropriate controls in the interests of customers. Through the adoption of a top down approach, demonstrate a culture where all our people understand their regulatory obligations, including what the fair treatment of customer’s means to them and our organisation

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications

University graduate with marketing/business qualification

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Experience in B2B marketing in the IT, Financial Services, Retail or Telco industries is a must

  • Prior experience in a regional South East Asian regional marketing role is a plus

  • Must be a strategic thinker, with experience in marketing planning and budget management

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Previous exposure to all elements of the marketing mix and associated channels

  • Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience of digital marketing including trends, portals and channels

  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills

  • Experience of negotiating with and influencing decision makers

  • Salesforce and Eloqua skills a plus.
