JDA Marketing Specialist in Shanghai, China
This is a full-time position within JDA Software (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. The Marketing Specialist will report to the Sr. Marketing Manager for Asia Pacific. The position is responsible for strategic B2B marketing plan development and execution in Greater China (GC), while ensuring alignment with the company’s overall go-to-market strategy and messaging. The job requires regular communication with the rest of the Asia Pacific team and corporate marketing team members.
Responsible for demand generation and marketing campaigns in Greater China region —including planning and execution of trade shows, JDA-hosted seminars, third-party events, partner-jointed events, direct mail, and digital activities.
Responsible for building a social media strategy and plan for JDA and to execute this strategy for GC. Leverage popular social media platforms (such as WeChat) and build China specific contents for GC social media channels.
Works closely with sales, business development and industry experts to create and implement demand generation programmes that are in line with go-to-market strategy and goals.
Commitment to measure effectiveness of marketing campaigns/activities using established metrics to show pipeline & revenue contribution.
Maintains JDA Chinese version website and manage Baidu programs.
Supports and drives marketing activities in other Asia Pacific regions when required, as part of the Asia Pacific marketing team.
Collaborates and works with US (corporate) and EMEA marketing teams to ensure regional contribution and execution of global marketing activities, including Public Relations matters, FOCUS and Focus Connect (user conferences) activities, global product/solution campaigns, etc.
Establishes media/analyst relations and responds to media/analyst enquiries.
Co-ordinates localization and proof-reading of brochures, marketing materials, campaigns, JDA publicity materials, press releases and sales support materials.
Managing marketing-related vendors eg. Telemarketing agencies
Manages marketing budget for GC
Searches for potential new target companies using all available resources.
Provides Sales Associates with relevant marketing materials and tools for delivery to customers and prospects.
Conducts market research on customers, prospects, competitors, partners as required and shares the information with all the team members.
Interviews appropriate internal and external (e.g. customer) experts in order to develop, update and deliver case studies, press releases, newsletters, event materials, direct mails, etc.
Bachelor’s degree and above
At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar capacity
Experience in B2B marketing, branding and PR/Communication
Experience in driving a social media strategy/programme in a past role or for a client
Strong communications skills
Strong project management and organization skills, is meticulous, and has the ability to prioritise and manage multiple and competing demands in a timely and professional manner
Fluent English in writing and speaking
Desirable experience, skills and qualifications:
Experience working in an IT/Software/Application sector
Knowledge of Salesforce and Marketo applications
Ran a Social Media Programme in a B2B environment
Experience in media and analysts relations
Experience and understanding of measuring and reporting on marketing performance and metrics
