The QuickBooks Online Payroll team is seeking a rock star Senior Marketing Manager to build and launch disruptive experiences in the SMB payroll space, dramatically growing customer acquisition. As a Senior Marketing Manager, QuickBooks Online Payroll, you will:  

  • Develop deep customer insight to inform a segmentation strategy and product positioning, as well as inform the product roadmap to deliver on the biggest customer needs

  • Target the best prospects and translate customer insights into integrated cross-channel go-to-market strategies to drive rapid penetration

  • Partner closely with marketing communications partners to create awesome end-to-end customer experiences in a variety of online and offline channels  to drive awareness, consideration and conversion

  • Partner closely with a tight-knit cross-functional team spanning marketing, product, design, analytics, finance and channel teams

  • Contribute significantly to the development and execution of the 1- and 3-year marketing strategy and plans

  • Actively analyze business data to generate insights and make informed decisions that drive business results

  • Continuously learn and iterate our marketing programs to continuously improve growth outcomes

  • Communicate results and recommendations with Senior Leaders



  • At least 10 years of business experience leading complex marketing strategy development and cross-functional execution

  • Experience using deep customer insight to inform segmentation, targeting and positioning, and translating strategy into actionable, cross-functional go-to-market plans

  • Customer-obsessed…listens to customers, champions their success, and makes decisions that benefit the customer and the entire Intuit portfolio, not just his/her offering or channel

  • Identifies big insights by synthesizing inputs from multiple data sources to unlock growth opportunities; develops business cases and activation plans to support

  • Demonstrated track record of successful product launches with integrated marketing communications strategies driving awareness and acquisition

  • Influences across teams to get things done, consistently communicates and influences across all levels up to Executive to achieve results

  • Ability to prioritize and make strategic choices, specifically narrowing from a range of opportunities to highest-impact near-term levers

  • Bias for action and experience with rapid testing and optimization

  • Strong creative problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong results orientation and decision making skills

  • BA/BS required, MBA preferred

  • Experience with small businesses a plus
