Inside Sales is driving impact within the Online Advertising space and partnering with the Microsoft Advertising organization to grow an SMB focused sales team. This space is a $1B annual business with massive potential to grow as Microsoft is providing the advertising industry with a world-class online advertising platform and service. Product Ads is one of the areas that has grown the fastest in the last couple of years and Inside Sales is looking for sales managers to grow and drive performance of a team of advertising sellers.

Microsoft is seeking a manager with a deep interest in Search Engine Marketing to join the Inside Sales organization to lead our Microsoft Advertising Sales team . As the Inside Sales Representative Manager, you will manage and coach a team of highly-talented and skilled sellers while driving day-to-day execution to exceed business performance targets. The team members’ primary responsibilities are to identify and grow business relationships with customers by offering a compelling portfolio of advertising products and innovative solutions.
Build and motivate a high-functioning Inside Sales team to meet or exceed revenue targets and operational standards
Foster an inspiring culture with an emphasis on service excellence
Conduct world class pipeline development and opportunity management through flawless execution
Develop and maintain a high-level understanding of the Search industry and trends
Advance team through coaching, mentoring and advocating for team accomplishments while maintaining a pipeline of top talent
Drive operational excellence to ensure the right service and solutions are offered to customers
Support team members in customer engagements (calls, meetings, emails, demos and Skype for business)
Review performance, provide visibility into opportunities, accurately forecast revenue and assess risk in portfolio reviews with senior management
Manage cross group collaboration with multiple stakeholders across the organization to support business objectives
Improve sales and business acumen via mentoring; support individual professional development and growth
+6 years of experience in Salesand/or Business Development Experience
2+ years of sales management experience with proven track record of leading large teams
+4 years of Search & Online Advertisement (SEO, SEM) Experience
4-year degree preferred; technology related sales or business development experience a plus
Familiarity with modern sales techniques and tools preferred
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Superior leadership skills with the ability to enable and motivate high performers
Experience and confidence to drive business strategy discussions with C-level executives
General knowledge of the digital advertising industry, with the capacity to learn and retain knowledge about individual systems, processes, products and services
Works well in a diverse team and enjoys a dynamically changing environment
Achievement and success-driven personality, motivated by performance rewards for exceeding annual sales goals
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite applications, Dynamics CRM or other CRM experience is a bonus
