Posting Overview:


  • Champion the Curtis brand! It is essential that the Curtis brand is properly communicated internally and externally.

  • Work with operations of the hotel to ensure the Curtis brand is being executed on property.

  • Develop concepts for and design assigned hotel collateral materials, including direct mail, ads, postcards, newsletters, flyers, invitations, vouchers, coupons, signs, etc. as needed

  • Manage website vendor under direction of DOSM. Contribute in keyword strategy, content strategy analysis of reporting and occasional CMS updates.

  • Manage uploading and inventory of the hotel’s visual assets including uploading into MDAM

  • Manage photo and video shoots within budget and on brand

  • Coordinate e-Newsletter, including design and distribution for the hotel. Coordinate brand-driven e-blasts during need periods.

  • Manage printers and additional designers to ensure brand and budget is maintained

  • Manage and maintain graphic files, including hotel logos, photos and art

  • Assist the hotel sales team with brainstorming, marketing and advertising strategies including package creation

  • Brainstorm, schedule and execute programming and activation throughout the hotel and restaurant. Manage vendors and budget accordingly.

  • Manage partnerships for programming.

  • Manage social media messaging for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram at minimum. Produce reporting and manage any advertising on social media

  • Manage public relations firm including regular update calls, reporting and responding to leads in a timely manner

  • Manage press site tours, FAM trips and media visits with PR firm

  • Work with hotel staff to generate information and approvals for materials

  • Works in a team environment to complete deadline-driven projects

  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously, while having a great attention to detail


  • Contributes to the hotel’s overall sales effort by assisting guests as needed.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or deemed necessary by management.

  • Focuses on revenue-producing activities and maximizes time.

Education/Formal Training

A four year college degree or equivalent education/experience.


Required to have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a marketing position. Hospitality experience preferred.
