About the role:
THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION
The Talent Acquisition team within Human Resources (HR) sources and recruits candidates to meet Avanade’s organizational talent demands, which change dynamically with shifting market and client needs.
As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for implementing global or regional recruiting programs. This will involve providing support to your local Talent Acquisition leadership, providing guidance, conducting research and analysis, handling special projects and more. The goal is to partner with the Talent Acquisition team, HR team and external groups to create efficient and effective recruiting processes at Avanade.
Day-to-day, you will:
Partner with a hiring manager to define general candidate requirements (e.g. prior experience, needed skills, education, compensation ranges)
Become a trusted advisor to business partners by providing consultative information on market trends
Develop creative sourcing strategies and source qualified candidates using passive channels
Help ensure that recruiting process, interviews and documentation are in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity guidelines
Communicate with all stakeholders, candidates and applicants, team members and hiring managers
Monitor performance and status metrics; communicate status and roadblocks to recruiting leadership
Use internal recruiting system (Taleo) to track progress against plan and make adjustments
You are great with people and technology—and know how to find people who are great with technology. You are insightful, persuasive and persistent. You are adept at listening to hiring managers, asking the right questions and coming up with hiring strategies to find the best people.
Your experience and skillset likely include:
Presentation, communication, active listening and story-telling abilities
Comfort with high tech and fast-paced culture
Boolean search strategies and ability to translate abstract desires into tangible search criteria
Microsoft technologies and solutions
Ability to build and manage relationships with colleagues and clients
Strong account management, negotiation and research skills
Deep knowledge of the variety of recruiting channels
Experience within a large consulting company
Microsoft platform recruiting experience a plus
You likely have at least five years of recruiting-related work experience. A Bachelor’s Degree in HR, business or psychology is ideal, though work experience can substitute.
