The Emerging Markets Sales Operations Manager will be the key business partner and point of contact for Rackspace’s Sales and Marketing functions in DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), Asia, Australia/New Zealand, and Latin America. The role will provide support to the General Managers, Sales and Marketing leadership, and sales teams across the regions. The key deliverable for this role will be to develop and maintain consistent KPIs across regions and in turn to provide timely and actionable recommendations to leadership and ultimately improving sales achievement. The priority and expectation is that the Emerging Markets Sales Operations Manager will enable sales excellence.

Key Accountabilities

  • Indirect ownership of the entire Emerging Markets Sales Quota

  • Primary output will be a clear and powerful sales operations report, supported by weekly and monthly reporting of KPIs including key improvement actions and trend reporting.

  • Timely development, communication and execution of the various processes, to include participation, input and visibility for critical functions outside of the segment (Finance, Legal, Support, etc)

  • Development and maintenance of KPI dashboard and other key management reports

  • Support sales leaders and reps in achieving targets through pipeline activity planning, reporting, analysis, customer retention strategies and one to one research and management

  • Providing regular reports on sales channel progress and measures

  • Attending and contributing value to Management meetings

  • Developing plans to support the continuous improvement of processes and procedures

  • Act as primary owner and coordinator of all sales input into strategic projects that drive positive change within the business

  • Cloud Sales monitoring and reporting

  • General Sales Operational Excellence initiatives

Qualifications

  • Broad range of business and managerial experience (at least 5 years)

  • Ideally with extensive experience of working within a thriving sales organisation

  • Knowledge of industry drivers, key customer trends, competition and market themes

  • Basic understanding of marketing processes and routes to market

  • Good knowledge of business finance models

  • Effective project management, timely and high quality delivery of assignments
