We areseeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team supporting our Professional staff. In addition to general administrative duties, this individual will be responsible for the completion of proposal and project documents. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5-years progressively responsible experience with advanced computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe. Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and the ability to function in a fast-paced environment as a team player are essential. This person must be able to work with little direction but be intuitive enough to bring a project to completion.
The position supports the engineering staff providing information and resources to the staff of the organization to allow for an environment to provide efficient and competent services. It also provides a high level of administrativesupport includingoffice administration,events, preparing documents, document management, marketing assistance and specific projects. Provide advanced knowledge of administrative and secretarial functions in support of the operations of the department in conjunction with other staff members. Must be able to work with high energy level executives and staff in an ever-changingenvironment.
Minimum of 5-years progressively responsible experience in a Administrative position in a corporate environment
Excellent/strong administrative assistant skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, keyboarding skills, note-taking and transcribing, strong analytical skills, writing skills that exhibit a high level of command of the English language (both written and verbal), as well as proficiency in integrated computer software applications and internet/intranet communications and research is required.
Graphics design experience is a plus.
Project management skills and the ability to handle a high volume of confidential information are required.
Must be self-directed and demonstrate effective problem-solving skills and superior organizational skills.
Must provide excellent customer service and public relations, and exhibit a high level of professionalism.
Work on/with committees throughout the company.
Function with a high level of proficiency in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Interface with, and negotiate with, all levels of the organization and the community.
Office administration such as receptionist, office supplies maintenance, assistance with office events, and others as needed.
Special projects as needed.
