The MARKETING DIRECTOR, CONTENT AND CAMPAIGNS is responsible for global definition, portfolio and blueprint of content marketing and campaign strategy within the IT Business Unit. With a focus on digital marketing strategies, this position oversees all marketing content initiatives across multiple platforms and formats to drive brand, leads, sales, engagement, retention, advocacy and positive customer behavior. Leading a team of content creators, curators and search engine optimizers, the core mission of this function is to plan, create and distribute valuable and compelling content to attract, acquire, and engage IT Buyers using all relevant distribution channels with the objective of driving brand awareness and preference, revenue and loyalty, creating a network of promoters and influencers. Posiition is ideally based in West Kingston, Rhode Island but we will consider alternative locations. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop a global campaign and content strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives, both short- and long-term, determining which methods work for the brand and why. Continuous evolvement of strategy is a must. Manage a global team of six, including social media, digital marcom, project management and SEO / web marketing strategist. Influence and engage global network of regional strategic marketing managers as well as field marketing specialists to achieve program goals and objectives. Manage relationships with global agencies, both internal and external, in content creation, press relations, social media and blog site. Develop editorial plan, coordinate content development, define development standards and processes, define approval process and metrics Define Search Engine / content strategies for both SEO and SEM Ensure content adoption and distribution, the right mix of content types and the appropriate channel distribution, ensure complete library based on persona and buyer journey Conducting ongoing usability tests to gauge content effectiveness. Oversee the performance analytics and make recommendations based on those results. Working with owners of particular channels and content to revise and measure particular content and marketing goals. Developing standards, systems and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval and content repurposing, including the real-time implementation of content strategies. Interface with Global Marketing functions and countries in order to innovate and improve performance of content and achieve business goals Integration of content activities within traditional marketing campaigns. Oversee the implementation of a Campaign process that will provide the customer a unique experience in line with the buyer journey using all relevant digital technologies Improve country adoption and facilitate country deployment Implement methodology selecting Pilot Projects, and facilitate Pilot definition and implementation Provide Pilot project status and reporting on impact of Pilots Identify risks and barriers and plans to resolve Primary Location: !*!
