Job Activities:

  • Outbound pro-active calling to customers in select markets in an effort to identify new opportunities/applications, initiate sales campaigns, reach decision makers, and collect competitive intelligence.

  • Navigate complex organizations through phone conversations, online meetings & onsite visits to both customer procurement personnel and manufacturing plant personnel is key to the success of this position.

  • The information you need for success is always at your fingertips as you will be able to utilize cutting edge technology to support selling and business activities within an integrated ecosystem inclusive of SAP, Salesforce.com, gotomeeting.com, and Showpad.com on your company issued tablet, smart-phone, and laptop.

  • Oversee sales, communications, and support to a select set of large strategic customers where the purchasing process will engage experienced and knowledgeable customer personnel through the sales cycle.

  • Form executive level relationships across different functional areas of the customers, through entertainment and expression of supplier value.

  • Participate in monthly account planning sessions with National Sales Manager & Business Development personnel for strategic planning.

  • Cross functional coordination with other Bostik internal departments, ensuring that Bostik remains at the forefront of customer needs.

  • Work with the Marketing department to provide effective virtual/online demos, product sell sheets, TDS and MSDS sheets and samples - emphasis on product benefits and features for each customer application.

Job Dimensions:

In this position you will directly manage a select group of established and highly successful customer accounts in the Pressure Sensitive Label Market .

You will work in tandem with the Business Director, National Sales Manager, Technical Sales Representatives, Business Development Personnel, Market Segment Management, and Product Line Managers to drive profitable growth through account support, account mapping, account penetration, pipeline generation and closure of new business.This role requires a high level of interaction with the Business Team responsible for the success of Bostik's Industrial Adhesives group and reports directly to the National Sales Manager for the Tape & Label Adhesive Business.

Accountabilities:

  • Accountable to the BU Sales Manager, Bostik Inc, & the shareholders of Arkema.

  • This role is accountable for managing all aspects of the business relationship for all customers in their territory.

  • Work collaboratively with business, marketing and technical teams to meet objectives.

  • Accountable to Bostik for growth

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Science related field or equivalent experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong understanding of various communication methods and proper situational use.

  • A minimum of 5 years of proven success in support or management or support of customers in the pressure sensitive label market is preferred.

  • Must possess a positive attitude with ability to negotiate challenging customer requests. Excellent personal and interpersonal working skills will aid in this aspect of the position.

  • Excellent personal and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrates proactive thinking and strong problem solving skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Office, Word, PowerPoint, web-site navigation and CRM software.

  • Must be advanced in Microsoft Excel and be proficient in Email, Word, PowerPoint, web-site navigation and CRM software.

  • Travel domestically (within North America) may be required for trade shows and customer visits.

  • Travel is estimated at to be 40-50% of the time.
