Midwest One Bank Administrative Assistant in United States


Is responsible for overall customer service care for banking customers including the opening and servicing of deposit accounts and referring other products and services to appropriate banking personnel. Greets and directs customers and clients as they come into the Bank, answering questions, providing information, and directing them to the appropriate area. May also be asked to help out with operational duties. Uses EDGE service skills with internal and external customers.


  • Opens checking, savings, certificate of deposits and IRA accounts which meet the customer's needs while cross-selling other MWO services to enhance the customer relationship.

  • Provides customers with information regarding services offered by other bank departments.

  • Handles a variety of customer service requests involving account relationships.

  • Computes certificates of deposit payouts for redemption: renewals, penalties and maturities.

  • Answers telephone and directs calls to appropriate department or person

  • Provides support to other lines of business as needed.

  • Services customers with their accounts by accepting and processing deposits of all types in accordance with bank policies and procedures:

  • Provides deposit account information to personal and business customers

  • Interacts with customers and other employees in a pleasant and friendly manner.

  • Stuffs various notices for mailings: loan payments, CDs, maturities, etc.

  • Takes care of deliveries made by Federal Express, Airborne, UPS, etc.

  • Signs for abstracts delivered to the bank from attorneys and abstract companies.

  • Completes log for registered mail.

  • Scan consumer loan documents

  • Review daily reports for the Loan Operations department

  • Other duties may be assigned


High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
