Lenovo Corporate Mid-Market Sr. Sales Manager in Canada

The Sr. Sales Manager reports to the General Manager of Lenovo Canada, and is responsible for driving growth in the Corporate Mid-Market space while leading a field sales team.

This position will be responsible for leading a sales team to develop and execute on an aggressive customer retention, and acquisition strategy. Team performance is a key responsibility of this role, and the successful candidate will demonstrate proven ability and past success in driving a high performance sales team. The Sr. Sales Manager will excel in creative thinking and problem solving, and will be energized by working in a transforming environment.

The successful candidate will have the ability to form and develop high level relationships within this segment, and is capable of calling into CEO levels to drive solution based conversations.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated; driven for results, and will have prior experience in rapidly growing and/or transforming organizations, while contributing to the success of the overall business.

This position is home based within the GTA, and does require occasional on-site presence in our Markham headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales strategy and set aggressive goals driving growth and revenue

  • Create and implement sales programs and tools to motivate and drive an engaged and high performing team

  • Ensure that our customers receive gold standard customer experience

  • Drive strategy to increase pipeline opportunities

  • Build complex sales strategies to ensure long term and short term goals are successfully achieved

  • Coaching/shaping/driving a winning team culture

  • 3 - 5 years of sales management experience

  • 7 - 10 years of successful technology field sales experience in a quota carrying role is required

  • Proven ability to operate with a high level of professionalism; entrepreneurial-ism and agility

  • Solid knowledge and established relationships within the Canadian market are considered an asset

  • Proven success with superior customer retention; development, and acquisition

  • Strategic mindset; financial acumen, and proven ability to grow a sales territory while managing multiple complex sales engagements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required, along with proven leadership success and demonstrated ability developing/retaining a high-performance sales team

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA or equivalent experience required

  • 50% travel
