LGE Canada Senior Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing in Toronto, Ontario

As part of the corporate marketing team, the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing is responsible for developing the strategy and implementing marketing programs, social campaigns and promotions that support the business units of Home Appliance, Mobile, Home Electronics and B2B business. You will develop the vision and roadmaps for all consumer-facing digital programs including websites, media, mobile, email, & social.

This position is not for a coding professional, we are looking for a digital marketer who has a strong digital background and has experience in coding & creative to assist the role.

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies, tactics and plans for the business and ensure they are consistent with the overarching corporate strategy to increase revenue opportunities and market share.

  • Work with the Brand Managers on strategy and development of all digital channels and platforms for (Media, Online, Email, Mobile, Social), ensuring brand, multichannel solutions and cross-channel consistency

  • Leading a digital team and developing talent within the organization

  • Manage external agencies (digital creative agencies, Media agencies) to build digital campaigns from start to finish

  • Build and optimize media plans to support each business unit leveraging our media agency.

  • Launch a full year SEO plan for the new LG.com website. Report monthly tracking of conversions and web metrics, along with SERP rankings.

  • Lead the strategy and weekly content calendar in the social media channels of Facebook, Twitter, Periscope, Instagram and LinkedIn to support the business objectives by channel.

  • Establish, plan and manage projects from start to finish, budget, processes, resources and timelines

  • Work with our key partners & retailers on co-op digital marketing efforts to increase SOV and improve conversions at retail.

  • Responsible for managing LG.com content and products. Ensuring key NPI is being supported in digital.

  • Oversee and optimize our ECRM program and work with the business units for content collection and organization

  • Serve as the companies digital advisor by educating the organization on digital and social marketing practices and trends and helping to evangelize opportunities throughout the corporation

  • Continuously explore innovative approaches to execute and optimize in a resource challenged environment

  • College or University Degree in Marketing or Digital

  • 8+ years relevant work experience within digital at a manufacturer, retailer, advertising, marketing or interactive firm

  • Expertise and proven track record of defining digital strategies and implementing them to drive business goals

  • Expertise in information architecture, user experience, design, development and implementation of Canadian digital channels, ensuring superior customer experience across all channels

  • Experience with search engine optimization and search engine marketing

  • Demonstrate a consistent ability to contribute in areas of conceptual and practical business management as well as technical solutions for business

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to present to and work with senior leadership

  • Strong multi-tasking skills, project management, comfortable in a fast changing environment, strong communication skills in written and presentations, detail oriented, Comfortable working alone and within team environments.

  • Strong relationship management skills, both internal and external, including the ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.

  • Strong management capabilities demonstrated through the implementation of company-wide initiatives and implementations within project time lines and budget.

  • Strong analytical skills in applying principles of logic or scientific thinking, including advanced mathematical concepts, to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.

  • Superior language skills in making effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to senior management, board of directors and other entities.

  • The ability to professionally grow into broader responsibilities
