American Red Cross Digital Marketing Content Specialist (tele-work position) in Statewide, United States
Bring your digital marketing experience to support the life-saving mission of the American Red Cross! This position can be based out of any city in the United States, preferably with an existing strong, American Red Cross Blood Services presence like Charlotte, NC; Columbia, SC; Dallas, TX; St Paul, MN; Atlanta, GA or Nashville, TN.
As a Digital Marketing Content Specialist, you will be part of our digital marketing team focusing primarily on promoting the Red Cross Brand and increasing Blood Donor Recruitment and Retention through digital marketing efforts.
• Develop and maintain overall content strategy and standards for voice and tone for digital programs • Establish process for, manage and execute on-going content projects with established templates and editorial calendars • Produce high-quality short, medium and long-form copy that incorporates best practices for digital use • Partner with the design team to create interplay between textual and visual elements • Collaborate with the internal marketing team and actively participate in project briefings • Track and monitor performance for all digital content projects. Provide direct feedback/analytics with the goal to improve response/revenue • Proactively bring ideas for content, promotions, video scripts, contests, blogs, photography, infographics, interactive digital features, etc. • Maintain and help to evolve the voice of web communications; research, write and edit SEO-rich, grammatically accurate content for ARC multiple websites, e-mails and social media, taking a proactive approach to improve our communications and brand across all online channels • Support online marketing, mobile and social media campaigns with digital content and media with an eye toward extending reach through social sharing. • Work with multiple owners of particular content to revise, measure and ensure consistent, accurate content and copyrighting appropriate for the digital space • Write concise and powerful marketing copy for banner ads, landing pages and other online communications as needed and collaborate with other staff in the creation of engaging marketing content for new digital initiatives • Develop creative vision for emails. Includes identifying in-house or stock photography; directing production artists to create visual elements. • Use email system templates to build select emails including all major email asks. • Develop email tests and deploy tests through our email system.
