Our St. Charles facility houses everything from large format presses (up to 81" sheetfed offset and even larger digital), state of the art technology including CAD Design & Engineering, UV sheetfed offset, and short run digital - all under one roof. We're looking for a local B2B Sales Rep to join this team and match our services to their customer's needs!
This is an outside sales, new business development role. Candidates should be comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, lead generation and handling tough customer demands. RR Donnelley expects that sales executives will target, create, maintain and develop relationships with new prospective customers to gain ongoing market share. Sales candidates will use a consultative sales approach with clients to create effective in-store marketing programs with the goal to build their brand awareness and integrity that will support their retail growth strategies.

Develop new business opportunities with retailers and brands. Uncover new solution opportunities. Maintain knowledge and understanding of the client’s business to recognize opportunities for growth. Capture client or prospect feedback and needs.
Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, guidance and recommending new growth opportunities.
Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Communicate internally and expedite resolutions of customer nuances.
Understand and recognize opportunities to fully penetrate accounts and communicate market intelligence to senior management.

Understanding of the design, production, kitting/packing, and distribution of a wide variety of POP/POS materials, including in-store marketing materials, signage and POP displays, with focus on 3-dimensional POP displays.
Reasonable background in the Large Format Litho, Screen printing, Dye Sublimation Fabric applications and Digital Print.
Develop business plan for accounts to meet or exceed sales, marketing and customer satisfaction objectives.
Interface with key customer executives in a professional, mutually beneficial partnership.
Ability to identify customer needs and effectively develop and present solutions
The ideal candidate must be self-driven with an entrepreneurial edge, and have experience working on both small and large accounts.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, or functional work with equivalent experience* 2 to 5 years of sales experience acquiring new accounts in a print or related industry is required.* Candidates must possess a confident personality suitable for handling cold calls and account management. Excellent presentation, organization, verbal and written communication are mandatory.* Valid Driver’s License.* Ability to travel both locally and nationally.
