Sony Electronics has a fantastic opportunity for a Channel Marketing Manager in the Home Entertainment and Sound division. The Channel Marketing Manager's responsibilities include developing and executing new product launches, merchandising (in-store retail displays/POP), national, customized online marketing campaigns, and programs/promotions specifically tailored for specific channels, with a heavy focus on retail and in-store display projects. The Channel Marketing Manager will work closely with Sony marketing, strategic sales planning, regional sales teams and product teams to execute Sony merchandising and promotions within Key Retail Partners to maximize Sony market share and sales within specific channels including Costco, Target and Walmart.

In this position, responsibilities may include, but are not limited to dealer visits, managing creative process of online advertising campaigns and advertising layouts; managing product launches within their channel, leading in-store display/retail projects, forecasting and budget management, analyzing competitive activities, analyzing dealer programs/promotions, recommending the best media investment, and maintaining a marketing communications plan with measurable objectives and goals. Qualifications: BS/BA is required or equivalent experience Ideally have 5 to 7 years related experience, including supervisory experience Must possess thorough and demonstrated understanding of the retail planning and execution process as well as strong overall project management and organization skills Must have a functional knowledge of the advertising process (i.e. presence; sell-through and promotion) Knowledge of Costco and Walmart is a plus Sony Electronics is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values employees with a broad cross-cultural perspective.
