Achieve the next level of breakthrough performance across the firm to achieve transformative performance improvements. This position (office location flexible), is responsible for providing strategic marketing direction, thought leadership and demand generation for CohnReznick’s Industry groups.

CohnReznick is looking for an experienced marketing professional with an understanding and work experience for a professional services firm. Successful candidate will have the flair to think differently, innovatively, and keep current on the latest trends. A team player who can creatively build programs tied to business issues, trends and solutions.

Advisory Practice Marketing Manager will be responsible for implementing strategy, planning and execution for integrated marketing programs and campaigns that support CohnReznick’s go-to-market approach. The ideal candidate will be a marketing professional with strong understanding of professional services and experience in B2B marketing, and consulting marketing — with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels and to leverage a diverse team. The candidate will have solid understanding of integrated marketing and communications, including digital and social, channel marketing, event management, campaign development, marketing strategy, though leadership development and client centric marketing.

Required Skills

Position Role

As a Marketing Manager at CohnReznick, you will contribute to the growth and development of our organization in a variety of ways, including:

  • Serve as marketing and communications advisor to business and key stakeholders in our National Practice units

  • Collaborate with subject matter specialists and leadership to develop messaging platforms and value propositions that are relevant and compelling and incorporate messaging throughout all communications

  • Conduct competitive and market research to understand client issues, marketing dynamics and competitive strategies and incorporating this information into marketing activities to drive high impact and differentiated programs

  • Assist with development and implementation of Practice Line Go-To-Market Plan

  • Introduce new initiatives, and bring market intelligence and client trends to the table when dealing with all responsibilities, including: events, RFPs, budgeting, targeting and planning, client service initiatives and externally focused visibility opportunities for individuals and the firm

  • Provide solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in depth knowledge of organizational objectives and demonstrates to work creatively and analytically for cross selling opportunities (strong diagnostic skills)

  • Utilize marketing automations tools and platforms

  • Create practice line campaigns targeted to C-Suite targets

  • Develop, maintain, and drive prioritization of national marketing campaigns across all industry groups

  • Help create and execute Advisory based go-to-market plans

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong business acumen

  • Proven success in the management of integrated marketing programs and discrete marketing projects

  • Ability to marshal resources and manage change in a matrix environment

  • Knowledge of CRM software including updating, maintenance and list generation

  • Consultative approach to working with marketing and client service professionals at all levels, including leadership

  • Exceptional project management skills and organizational skills

  • High level of comfort with ambiguity and fluid priorities; ability to manage multiple and complex priorities

  • Strong persuasive communication skills

  • Experience working with sales enablement programs and/or strategic selling programs

  • Innovative thinker with the ability to “roll-up his/hers sleeves” to make things happen

Required Experience

  • 5-7 years years of experience in marketing, with a focus on marketing, program and campaign development

  • Undergraduate degree, ideally with a focus in Marketing, Economics, Business or a related business field

  • Demand generation experience for a consulting or professional services firm

  • Deep understanding of integrated marketing and Go-To-Market strategies and how they come together to provide measurable results

  • Previous experience in B2B marketing

  • Superior Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts (e.g., Marketo, Microsoft CRM)

  • Deep understanding of Social and Digital tools (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook)

  • Master’s degree preferred and Big 4 or Tier 2 Accounting, Tax and Advisory work experience preferred
