POSITION PURPOSE

Marriott International is seeking an Executive, Digital Field Marketing, Restaurants & Bars. This position is responsible for managing and executing various initiatives and programs designed to maximize awareness and promotion of our restaurant and bar venues across 34 SPG Hotels & Resorts in Italy and Central Mediterranean. The role is part of a multidisciplinary marketing team of young professionals based at the Sheraton Rome and reports to the Senior Manager, Digital Field Marketing, SPG, Southern Europe. The ideal candidate is the link between the Food & Beverage and marketing teams and will have a strong focus on digital communication of our venues and website optimization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The primary responsibilities of the Executive, Digital Field Marketing, Restaurants & Bars, are:

-Maintain ongoing relationships with F&B teams to ensure that new initiatives and information are incorporated at all consumer touch points.

-Work with Digital Field Marketing Team, on drafting the strategies for the respective properties in need.

-Ensure all information about the Restaurant & Bar outlets is up-to-date (operating hours, menus, websites, promotions, etc.).

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS

In addition to the above, the Restaurant & Bar Marketing Executive will:

-Leverage social media and ensure key restaurants & bars have a presence on hotel s social networks

-Support restaurants & bars creation of written/photo/video content

-Tracks and analyzes key metrics to assess effectiveness of marketing activities in order to maximize results

-Serve as champion for Restaurant & Bar initiatives related to loyalty program Starwood Preferred Guest

-Work close with F&B teams to develop and promote partnerships, events & initiatives that influence the guest experience, position the venues in order to generate awareness and extra business

-Manage relationships with key third-party websites to gain maximum exposure and drive extra business

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job:

-Excellent communication skills; Demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy and is fluent in the English and Italian language.

-Eager to meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility

-Well-organized with high attention to detail, in order to manage multiple tasks and ensure that all tasks are completely accurately and in timely fashion as required.

-Strong customer service orientation and flexibility to meet and anticipate changing needs and requirements.

-Passion for the hospitality is regarded as a pro.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education:

Masters / Bachelor s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communication, Fine Food and Beverage and/or Business

Experience:

Entree level job, but experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing in social media and/ or F&B blogging experience is a pro

Grooming:
