Job SummaryThe overall purpose of this position is to develop and implement marketing campaigns to help drive sales and usage of for IEEE subscription products. This position, following strategy developed by the Marketing Manager for Demand Generation, manages multiple activities to help generate leads, new sales, and support cross-sell/upsell activity for IEEE online products. The incumbent will constantly monitor, review and report on the results of such campaigns and make recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs to increase ROI. Success in this role requires familiarity with email marketing, as well as marketing automation and CRM tools and best practices.This position functions as an individual contributor and reports to the Marketing Manager, Demang Generation Strategy.Key Responsibilities:Specific tasks include but not limited to:Coordinate new lead sources such as list rentals, advertising opportunities, and new types of outreachesCoordinate monthly and ad-hoc email communication campaigns to prospect lists to promote value of IEEE information, products and free trials, from list acquisition to scheduling and launch.Develop and deploy custom (primarily B2B) e-Marketing campaigns to customers and prospects to promote IEEE products, raise awareness, and communicate new products and features.Work with internal teams to gather campaign requirements and translate business needs into technical execution for email campaigns. Candidate needs to be able to decide best course of action (i.e. blast, trigger, nurture email programs) to accomplish campaign goals.Maintain copy decks and make ongoing updates to nurture program emailsGenerate and implement test strategies, including A/B multi-variant testing, to drive qualified traffic and revenue-building activities to ensure maximum profitabilityBuild and maintain highly effective campaign landing pages and backend workflows to properly score and assign leadsCRM database management, reporting and updates: Manage CRM Database of customer & contact lists. Develop and segment lists in SFDC, Marketo, and other internal contact database systemsProvide product marketing support by managing content updates on Innovate and IEEE Xplore websiteSupport coordination and tracking of digital advertising initiativesSupporting the Product Marketing team with ad hoc projectsAttend industry conferences to staff and promote exhibits, launch projects with creative and design team, and perform ad hoc activities to support sales teams in closing businessUpdate Marketing Calendar and Media planSupport Demand Gen team with digital advertising efforts in internal and external vehicles and research more targeted marketing methods to increase lead qualityReporting on campaign results (i.e. email campaign performance, lead activity, and trackable sales)Support large-scale in-person and virtual events (i.e. webinars, tradeshows, workshops), including invitations, registration process, platform vendor selection, etc.Keep apprised of marketing trends, best practices and new tools; present recommendations to the teamAttend industry conferences to staff and promote exhibits, launching projects with creative and design team and ad hoc activities to support all sales teams in closing new businessVEVRAA Federal ContractorRequest Priority Protected Veteran ReferralsEOE -Veteran /Disabled/Minority/AA/F/M/SO
