Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to strategically sell the Thunderbird Exec Inn to achieve/exceed annual budgeted sales goals

  • Organize Marketing and Public Relations projects with assistance from Thunderbird Marketing Department.

  • Maintain positive customer relationships and ensure timely responses to all inquiries for space or service needs.

  • Confer with customers in all phases of their meeting/conference to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

  • Must effectively plan and communicate to all departments the expressed needs of the customer.

  • Act as a liaison between the Thunderbird and all customers

  • Ensure that all appropriate communication for upcoming business is complete and distributed in a timely manner to the management team.

  • To attend and host daily/weekly/monthly meetings that are scheduled and provide input and necessary documentation needed.

  • Organize sales and marketing efforts to ensure that the maximum exposure is purchased for the monies that are spent.

  • Conduct sales calls, prospecting and meet all quotas to ensure that the quarterly and annual goals are met.

  • Work closely with the FLIK team to roll out annual marketing plan.

  • Manage sales budget and the departmental expenses.

  • Complete knowledge of the Opera Express, Property Management System

  • Develop quarterly action plans to that improve the Thunderbirds Sales efforts and the Center’s overall yearly initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS degree and a minimum of five years sales and marketing experience

  • Keep abreast of Industry Trends, share information with all staff.

  • Superior quantitative, oral and written communications and problem-solving/strategizing skills.

  • Excellent overall computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Proactive mindset to anticipate and support changes in our business.

  • Conformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior.

  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
