Job Description

Position Summary:

Coordinates, develops and implements marketing programs and work activities that contribute to the organizational goals of the Company and all operating divisions. Provides support and contributes to accomplishment of the corporate vision and its underlying business objectives by providing marketing related counsel and services using the appropriate marketing strategies for specific target audiences. Provides analytical and systems support to support marketing strategies. Responsible for obtaining research and drawing conclusions in order to participate in the development of marketing strategies.

Primary Duties:

  • Plan and develop key marketing communication initiatives using creative design and creative writing to effectively represent the products, services, brands and company to customers and prospects.

  • Apply various communication strategies to create an impression, raise awareness and encourage a preference and response by the target audience for the company and its products, services and brands.

  • Write, edit and publish marketing e-newsletter to external customers.

  • Primary marketing content contributor for company website; primarily external website but also internal website.

  • Research, develop and write content for websites.

  • Develop the marketing strategy for small marketing initiatives; participate in and provide input on cross-functional teams.

  • Perform market research projects.

  • Facilitate the development of the marketing plan; provide direction to the overall project, ensure activities are coordinated to achieve plan, complete research and data gathering to assist in decision-making.

  • Act as a resource to other departments on marketing policies and procedures; plan and deliver informational meetings to keep other departments informed of key marketing initiatives, processes and goals.

  • Support product development team through the development and execution of all marketing communications efforts, support new product launches.

  • Assist in managing Marketing Communications budgets.



  • A student currently working towards a degree in a Business discipline e.g. Business Management, Business Administration, etc., Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Public Relations, Economics, Sociology, Engineering, Corporate Communications, Information Technology, Supply Chain or other related discipline.

  • Must be legally allowed to work in the United States without sponsorship.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Intermediate skills and knowledge in use of personal computers and MS office products.

  • Strong listening skills; ability to take direction.

  • Abiility to follow established procedures to accomplish requirements of job.

  • Strong oral and written communicate skills.

  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to established timelines.

  • Proven time management skills.

  • Ability to develop and/or analyze reports.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in an office environment utilizing office equipment including a computer, monitor, keyboard and mouse.

  • Work is often performed with short deadlines and may involve sensitive matters requiring objectivity and confidentiality.

  • May be required to work non-standard hours.

  • May travel occasionally to Company locations for meetings or events.
