Marketing Director, Private Wealth Management
Overview SEI Private Wealth Management (PWM) delivers an innovative and complete goals-based wealth management solution for individuals and families that have a net worth exceeding $10 million. Solutions include Investment Management, Financial Management and Reporting, Legacy and Estate Planning as well as Aggregated Reporting and Score Carding.
Job Description SEI has an immediate opening for a highly motivated and results-oriented individual to join the Corporate Marketing team to manage marketing strategy and oversee communication projects from conception to completion for PWM.
The primary responsibilities will consist of building an annual marketing plan and assessing and measuring impact.
Additional responsibilities for the Marketing Director will consist of client relationship marketing, creative services value chain oversight, client/market understanding, project management (development of creative briefs, ongoing creative input, concept presentations), daily project initiation, integrated marketing campaign planning and outside vendor oversight.
In addition, the Marketing Director will collaborate extensively with the PWM Solutions and Sales teams to craft workable strategic marketing plans to support organic growth, development of new markets and integration of any business acquisitions. This position will report into SEI Corporate Marketing to the Director of Account Services and be based in Oaks, PA.
Expectations Develop and oversee marketing strategies and programs including but not limited to:
Awareness Campaigns (Prospects/Clients)
Lead Generation Programs
Sales Support (Events/Collateral)
Client Support (i.e. collateral and digital assets)
Support territory expansion plans by developing and executing flexible marketing programs designed to work across multiple geographies and new markets.
Develop close working relationships with the solutions, sales and service personnel inside of the PWM organization
Assess incoming requests and accurately prioritize work to deliver exceptional customer experience
Work across multiple marketing channels (print, web, video, email, direct to consumer) to create integrated campaigns with measurable results
Create and manage daily/weekly project development and scheduling to ensure on-time completion
Oversee campaign logistics, proactively thinking through all required deliverables and present the team lead with recommended action plans for facilitating seamless execution
Oversee public relations strategy and market research efforts in tandem with in house experts in both areas
Engineer and manage outsourced marketing programs as necessary
Quickly gain an in-depth knowledge of SEI’s Private Wealth Management business
Some domestic travel, up to 25% of work time, expected
Required Experience and Skills
Skill set should include:
Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred
Minimum of 10 years of experience in ad/design agency account executive or product/marketing management working within the consumer financial services industry
Hands on experience developing project outlines and translating them into meaningful briefs for others to follow
Strong organization and project management skills
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment that relies on subject matter experts inside of a shared services system servicing multiple business units
Demonstrated ability to successfully work within a collaborative project planning process and influence others to achieve necessary results
Expertise with Microsoft Office suite mandatory Wealth management experience a plus
Experience with Microsoft CRM or other relationship databases; marketing automation and tracking systems.
Ability to travel- 25% of the time
Physical Demands and Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email.
