SMBC Part Time Administrative Assistant - Bilingual Japanese/English in New York, New York

Overview:

SMBC is seeking a part time Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the President of SMBC Capital Markets, Inc. and to the senior members for the CM Marketing team. This is a part time role (less than 30 hours per week).

Responsibilities:

  • Travel and expense management

  • Coordination of meetings/dinners

  • Communicate effectively with other departments including SMBC Americas Division and Tokyo Head Offices

  • Answer phones promptly and courteously

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of administrative experience supporting senior level professionals at a bank or financial institution.

  • Ability to read and speak both English and Japanese is essential.
