WSP USA is looking to hire a Marketing Manager to work out of the NY, NY office to support the transportation market sector. The selected candidate will provideoversight and management of the district/region sales efforts and management of the marketing production services group. The Marketing Manager will also provide resources to technical staff to ensure that marketing deliverables are prepared in a timely manner and in keeping with the WSP Style Manual. Other duties include supporting all district/regional offices using the pursuit management process, and working as part of management team to define business unit’s strategic direction and long-term business strategy.

Job Duties Include:

  • Supports new business development with external clients and maintains relationships with existing clients

  • Sets and enforces district/corporate marketing policies as they relate to the pursuit management process

  • Leads MTAP development for the business unit

  • Develops and monitors strategic and non-strategic marketing budgets

  • Participates in defining annual sales goals

  • Reports all wins/losses/pending pursuits

  • Supports the district/region in the preparation of other marketing deliverables

  • Maintains up-to-date brochures, resumes, project pages, and other business development tools

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications or related field

Experience/Skills Required:

  • Minimum of seven years experience in management of marketing staff and related production/sales efforts

  • A combination of education and experience demonstrating the equivalent of at least 7 years of experience in marketing in the A/E, professional services, or related industry

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with emphasis on persuasive writing/editing and presentation development ability

  • Proven success as proposal/project manager experience overseeing, coordinating, and performing all aspects of production, including strategy and messaging, graphics, technical teams, and production

  • Ability to produce high quality materials under deadline pressure

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (high proficiency in InDesign a plus) and Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Strong writing, editing and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, InDesign)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Willingness to travel within the Northeast (minimal)

  • We are looking for energetic, motivated, and organized candidates with advanced written and verbal communication skills, and strong critical thinking

  • Simultaneously coordinate multiple pursuits at various stages of development

  • Manage projects and lead cross-functional teams with limited to no supervision
