American Express Manager/ Senior Manager, Digital Marketing in New York, New York10176

The Global Commercial Payments (GCP) Marketing organization is responsible for acquiring and engaging American Express commercial customers. The Small Business team within GCP Marketing is specifically focused on building relationships with this important segment of customers and helping them grow their businesses while deepening their loyalty to American Express. This role sits on the Tenured Digital Marketing team for Small Business. The team leverages digital marketing channels, including the AmEx web site and eNewsletters, to drive revenue for GCP and enhance experiences for Card Members.

This position will be responsible for leading the strategy and execution for digital experiences that drive growth in Lending on Charge (LOC) -- a leading lending product in GCP. The role will also stretch into other digital marketing responsibilities where the learnings from LOC can be applied to other products and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and optimize the LOC application journey to maximize conversions

  • Act as key relationship owner with tech teams that develop LOC digital experiences

  • Manage "always on" site placements that drive to the LOC application, and apply learnings to a growing suite of other lending products

  • Identify and launch other digital experiences to drive LOC enrollment and usage

  • Champion Marketing Automation journeys for LOC and define the go-forward strategy for leveraging this capability across customer marketing for GCP

  • Lead one B30 direct report who supports execution and analytics efforts

  • University degree in marketing, business administration, or similar careers

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing and/or project management

  • Strong Strategic Thinker with track record of developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies and driving business outcomes

  • Excellent Relationship Builder who can work across a large matrixed organization to build effective relationships with partners across marketing, product, and technologies

  • Highly Effective Communicator with strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills that allows for the clear articulation of strategy and ideas, in order to influence and set direction for team

  • Results Oriented who can lead complex projects and motivate others to attain results

  • Caring People Leader interested in coaching and developing others
