JOB REQUIREMENTS: Marketing Manager - (BL14999) Job Requisition ID: BL14999 Manages the development and implementation of marketing programs for a specified business segment. Plans, budgets, coordinates and develops marketing programs that support the sale of all company products sold through the assigned distribution channels. Job Responsibilities: 1. Partners with Marketing Leadership to create programs that support the sale of a specific business segment's products 2. Evaluates channel marketing needs and makes recommendations to leadership for strategic planning 3. Supports the development and launch of new products and services 4. Drives activities tied to achieving annual sell-thru objectives for assigned channel of distribution 5. Drives Voice of Customer and Research activities, including analysis, of current and future new product users 6. Works closely with the business development team in identifying ongoing improvements based on customer needs 7. Participates in the ongoing validation of the value proposition 8. Develops customer communications of new products and product improvements 9. Partners with Sales leadership to incorporate education and training materials in marketing programs 10. Maintains and updates market intelligence databases on pricing, market shares, volumes, and competitors 11. Leads the development of labeling and branding issues 12. Performs full range of managerial responsibilities which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; EEO/AA; performance management; department budget 13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to successfully manage several assignments simultaneously and to coordinate with multiple departments at all levels of the organization. Must be resourceful and team focused, have strong problem solving skills, a strong drive for efficiency and quality and be a proven self-starter able to work independently.
