Facebook Marketing Manager, Italy in Milan, Italy

The Regional Business Marketing team is the engine that grows Facebook's business at scale in our main EMEA markets. In this context, we are looking for an experienced marketing manager to lead our B2B marketing efforts across Italy on our key platform Facebook and Instagram. This position will be responsible for creating and managing high class business marketing initiatives, like setting up integrated business marketing campaigns, creating compelling case studies, holding events, designing relevant content and more.

While this position is mainly aimed at the Italian market, it will also require the ability to lead and scale initiative across Southern Europe (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal) and beyond. As part of the EMEA marketing team the candidate has to be savvy in an international organization and needs to show excellent skills in stakeholder management.

This position is full-time and based in Milan, Italy.

Required Skills:

  1. Create and execute the overall business marketing strategy that will result in driving business growth in Italy

  2. Create world-class marketing campaigns for all Facebook marketing products (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) across our agency and brand advertiser customer base in Italy

  3. Create and execute Facebook representation on industry-events and conferences in close cooperation with agencies and/or our events team

  4. Create and execute Facebook owned events in close cooperation with agencies and/or our events team

  5. Develop marketing materials designed to enhance our advertisers’, agency partners’ and the industry’s understanding of Facebook-advertising and -marketing

  6. Work closely with cross-functional counterparts (Sales, PR, Measurement, Creative, etc.) to ensure cohesion and scalability for advertising messaging, campaigns and product launches

  7. Develop scalable ways to use data and metrics to drive growth and sales for clients

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree preferred, MBA or equivalent a plus

  2. 8+ years’ of relevant experience

  3. Demonstrated capacity for developing industry leading marketing strategies in an Internet and/or advertising environment

  4. Deep knowledge of the advertising/marketing industries across Italy

  5. Experience working with senior marketers at both agencies and global brands and expertise supporting and enabling a sales organization

  6. Strong decision-making skills with successful experience influencing and leading cross-functional teams

  7. Creative flair to bring fresh ideas to positioning and marketing campaigns

  8. Comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on environment

  9. Fluent in Italian and English

  10. Some travel required
