We're looking for someone to join the Media Partnerships team to support project management and partner approvals for consumer-facing marketing assets and deliverables. This person will oversee all partner approvals and assets needed, create and manage partner communications, and track progress towards timelines and goals. We're looking for someone who is passionate about the online video landscape and understands the stakeholders both internal and external. This person has excellent project management skills, is extremely organized and detail-oriented, and is a strong communicator, especially with high profile external parties. Constantly evolving, this person is driven to look for newer, better ways to do things and is always improving processes and organization for smoother execution. This position will be based in Menlo Park, CA.
Be an expert in project management of highly detailed partner approvals for marketing assets
Craft communications for and get approval from high profile external parties under tight timelines
Manage timelines, deliverables and progress tracking for partner approvals and content delivery for marketing assets
Surface blockers and present alternatives to stakeholders to keep the project on time and within scope
Work closely with partner managers to understand relationship dynamics in order to properly frame asks to partners
Be a strong partner to our legal team to understand required clearances and restrictions and incorporate that into your approval process
Bring ideas to the consumer marketing team on partners to feature based on your knowledge of partner content and project goals
Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with key stakeholders like marketing, legal and partnerships to implement them
Lead training and education for marketing, partnerships and legal about how to work with your approval process
Work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment to do all of the above
Project management skills, driving end-to-end, strategy and execution
Experience with project management tools such as Quip and Microsoft Office
Communication skills and ability to communicate to partner-facing audiences
Experience working cross-functionality with high profile external parties, marketing, partnerships and legal teams
Understanding of web and mobile technologies and the media industry landscape
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- 2+ years experience in project management for media company or business
