OfficeTeam is currently looking for an QUALITY Mid-Level Administrative Assistant to support one of their local health care companies! ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * May receive, date stamp, sort, log and distribute all incoming mail, claims and/or inquiries coming into unit. * Delivers and picks up documents from other departments as needed. * May verify that information produced on ID cards and/or other documents is accurate. * Distributes contracts, riders and amendments in a timely and accurate manner. Mails out individual policies and certificates. * Prepares on a daily basis correspondence, envelopes, applications and other records for imaging. * Maintains and updates subscriber files and researches returned mail for correct addresses. * May assist other staff by calling members, group administrators, agents/brokers, attorneys or providers, or other member representatives to obtain missing information and correct any errors. * Assists and supports staff with typing and sending out letters to members and providers. * Willing to work overtime and on weekends as needed
