Job Description:

The Marketing Event Partner is responsible for the planning and execution of numerous Cerner executive-level client events by creating and implementing plans and strategies to increase client satisfaction and constituent engagement. The event planner in this role leads multiple events simultaneously, drives development and execution, creates partnerships across Cerner and client base, and is responsible for the quality, delivery and overall success of their events. Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • 3-5 years of experience planning corporate events

  • Previous experience working with C-suite executives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Meeting Planner (CMP)

  • Experience with Cvent event management platform

  • Experience managing and coordinating resources which may include people, data, processes and financial plan to produce cohesive outcomes

  • Previous experience leading/managing an onsite team
