Position Summary

Reporting to the Associate Dean for Communications, the administrative assistant and junior marketing analyst is part of a team of four communication professionals, and plays an integral role in the department. Responsibilities include monitoring all of the schools communication activities through our Digital Marketing and Customer Relationship Management platform (CRM) applications, pulling reports, analyzing data for completed and ongoing campaigns daily and weekly, and providing necessary data to inform clients of their digital marketing needs; updating, posting, and approving website content; creating emails and e-newsletters; distributing content via the Law Schools social media channels; trafficking and distributing online and print materials; administering financial and accounting transactions; scheduling meetings, photographers, and video shoots; arranging travel; and archiving electronic and print collateral.

Required Qualifications

Formal training beyond a HS Diploma of 1-2 years, two years college coursework, or Associates degree, and 2-4 year of experience or equivalent. Ability to multitask and be flexible with changing priorities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree. Work experience in a communications environment, as well as direct experience with digital marketing platforms, CRM applications, HTML, databases, web content, e-mail distribution management systems, and print production coordination, including asset archiving. Sound working knowledge of current trends in print and online communications including social media, video, photos, and technology.
