Specializes in the development and the maintenance of the Hale Koa Hotel website (www.halekoa.com), e-marketing campaigns (e-newsletters, social media, www marketing, etc.), and data collection and reporting (guest surveys, database management, etc.). Works closely with supervisor, managers and officials, marketing staff, and IT specialists in applying and implementing electronic commerce (e-commerce) initiatives for the purpose of marketing programs and services on-line. Participates and contributes graphic design, programming, and support to on-site multi media marketing efforts including, but not limited to, guest room TV channel, digital signs and video marketing initiatives. Establishes return of investment (ROI) measures for Hale Koa e-marketing initiatives and reports results as required. Support other Hale Koa Hotel marketing initiatives as required. Implements marketing approaches to improve business opportunities. Applies marketing concepts and knowledge as well as knowledge of current social trends and technology advancements to the internet. Provides advice to decision makers in setting goals and establishing priorities to support the organizational mission. Evaluates user requirements and advises on design capabilities and maintenance responsibilities. Studies customer requirements, translates into marketing strategies, designs and recommends format changes and file and directory structures. Ensures that all content displayed is fully accessible and conforms to higher level and regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. All qualification requirements must include experience performing duties equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level.
Experience in marketing and/or advertising with knowledge of the WWW system and private enterprise technological processes for developing and utilizing social networking for e-commerce purposes. Demonstrated ability to graphically design, code and launch an interactive website utilizing current technologies and trends. Demonstrated ability in graphic design software (Creative Cloud Programs - Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Premier Pro, & After Effects, also knowledge of Quark). Digital portfolio of past work in graphic design and web design must be submitted with application.
Must possess organizational skills and be able to work quickly in an e-commerce environment. Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently. Must be able to work under pressure to meet project deadlines and specific tasks. Must be self motivated and have strong problem solving skills. Must have strong communication skills.

Hospitality experience is a plus.
Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field is preferred
