Your Impact As A Marketing Strategist

The Marketing Strategist will be will be responsible for supporting the Strategic Marketing team in all aspects of marketing effectiveness. This includes marketing program, business, and trend analysis and reporting, opportunity identification, and recommendation development

The candidate willbuild sound business cases with multiple (and sometimes incomplete) data sources. Identify gaps and opportunities and guide marketing strategies that are aligned with the business objectives. . Turn data into actionable business insights. Reduce complex data into simple visualizations that tell a complete story that then aids in decision making / strategy development. Identify process improvements in complex business / marketing processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with BU teams to access, mine and synthesize data.
  • Prepares reports and graphic illustrations of findings, and presents findings to management.
  • Conduct marketing program, business, and trend analysis through the use of business intelligence, customer profiling, and data analysis with a passion for analyzing and synthesizing information from multiple sources to glean insights.
  • Partner with Marketing Strategy team to ensure recommendations are clear, grounded in the data, and supportive of the overall objectives
  • Lead evaluations of marketing processes and identify areas of opportunity and optimization.
  • Establish key marketing KPIs for identifying cause-effect relationships between financial outcomes and marketing actions to raise profitability; track results vs. goals.
  • Standardize monthly marketing read-outs for all BUs, provide expert assistance to marketing strategy leads
  • Standardize site metric performance and read-out
  • Provide ad-hoc report development/analysis to internal business units as needed

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

The ideal candidate will become the eyes and ears of their organization, providing valuable insights into marketing effectiveness and impact to BU goals.

A B.S. degree witha comfort level with basic statistical concepts and developing business presentations.

5+ years of experience developing insights and recommendations from marketing campaigns – ideally in a direct to consumer or business environment. He/she will be skilled at compiling and interpreting data, synthesizing complex data into digestible information, and then laying out recommended actions to drive results for Business Unit leaders.

Great teamwork skills and ability to multi-task and operate in a dynamic environment. Self-starter and ability to move projects forward and meet deadlines with little direction. Strong presentation skills (including executive presentations and sales presentations and the visual representation of data). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basicskills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), advanced Excel skills (to include V-Look-Ups, Pivotal Tables, etc.).
