Job Description Summary
To provide marketing support to Next tier team
Segment marketing management
Coordinate with Business marketing leads
Provide marketing inputs to next tier leadership team
Devise quarterly marketing plans and drive execution
Gather marketing knowledge and competition information through field visits
The incumbent will be responsible for providing core marketing support to XBU-M2 business with specific focus on Segment Marketing, communications, content development, planning and executing promotional events, Market Intelligence, and developing and managing key customer relationships with the objective of Demand generation and increasing the market share/penetration of XBU portfolio in next tier of Indian Healthcare market. Above should be sustainable, process driven and is aligned to the regional business strategies. Alongside creating segment centric solutions to fulfill unmet needs of customers hence creating highly differentiated image for BD India in next tier of market.
Work with Marketing/Product Managers and Business Managers of business units to develop Marketing Strategy for XBU M2 and ensuring implementation of key strategic drivers as under;
Play an instrumental role in making the Annual Strategic Review( ASR) and execution of ASR actions/milestones
Responsible for analysing Periodic Margin - Pricing /discounting decision
Responsible for New/Market appropriate product launches
Define and implement Incentive schemes, tactical promotional schemes for internal/external customers.
Utilize various data points such as sales/ product/ market trends etc to develop effective sales promotional tools by understanding market/sales organization’s needs while ensuring support from marketing teams of different businesses.
Drive Market Intelligence in alignment with respective businesses, Gather VOC, Analyze purchase criteria of customers, Survey Customer perceptions, Understand purchase processes and cycles. Collate market intelligence to outperform competition.
Lead the customer relationships through field visits along with Sales team, organizing user group events in consultation with Business teams.
Plan and organize clinical events, market development activities, workshops and conferences in co-ordination with various business units.
Work with business units and enable Sales team to support the selling process by developing Content, collaterals, Profiling and mapping of customers and administering internal trainings.
