Christian Reformed Church in North America Senior Administrative Assistant - Resonate in Grand Rapids, Michigan
Resonate Global Mission, a ministry of the Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA), has a full-time opening for a Senior Administrative Assistant in our Grand Rapids, MIchigan office. The purpose of this position is to coordinate general administrative services for Resonate Global Missions Grand Rapids office and manage administrative support activities for the US advancement and mission support co-director.

Status: Full time, non-exempt
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following:
Provide general office administrative support, as directed.
Answer and screen phone calls, provide information as needed.
Respond to requests for information and materials and ensure proper handling of correspondence, as directed.
Monitor director’s e-mail correspondence and forward to other appropriate staff, as needed.
Maintain director’s calendar, schedule appointments and coordinate all logistics for meetings and routine conferences, including travel.
Assist in the preparation and distribution of all agenda materials for assigned agency boards and committees.
Coordinates and organizes all aspects of annual conference (e.g., researching and choosing venues, arranging travel and transportation of attendees, collecting and organizing event material and other necessary logistics), as applicable.
Prepare, including drafting and editing, correspondence, presentations, and reports for assigned governing bodies.
Communicate information on behalf of director, as requested.
Organize and maintain all correspondence, files and official organizational records.
Record and distribute minutes from assigned board and committee meetings.
Prepare and process invoices, check requests and expense reports as applicable.
Routine copying, printing and gathering of information, as needed.
Work with appropriate department to ensure that information is correct and up to date on applicable web sites.
All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Able to respect and support the mission, vision and values of the CRCNA.
Proven ability to plan and organize tasks and responsibilities including multitasking, setting priorities and deadlines, etc.
Proven ability to be self-motivated, work independently with minimal direction and collaboratively within a team environment.
Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and external contacts.
Some college coursework required.
At least two years’ experience as an administrative assistant.
