Human Resources Administrative Assistant

The HR Administrative Assistant will be working onsite at top petro chemical company in Freeport, TX in a long-term contract position.

Your primary responsibility will be the administration of Global Mobility processes and project support. Must be able to work in dynamic environment, multi-task, work independently, and complete daily accountabilities in a timely manner. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.

You will be the point of contact for administrative work flow within Human Resources at Texas Operations.

This role requires data analysis for both standard and non-standard reports. Strong Excel skills will be needed to be successful in this role.


Triage for standard questions and answers via functional mailbox (strong written and verbal communication) Creation of Immigration and Verification of Employment Letters (pulling confidential data into a Word template; strong attention to detail) Distribution and auditing of assignment Package – (pulling confidential data into an Excel template; strong attention to detail) Scheduling of Orientation Meetings (Outlook / calendaring; scheduling on behalf of Mobility Partner) Creation of Mobility Orientation Presentation (process is defined, but still need to utilize some general HR knowledge; PowerPoint) Manual creation of Localization & Permanent Transfer cost estimate (pulling confidential data into an Excel template; some general HR knowledge; VLOOKUP in Excel; strong attention to detail) Update Draft Relonet authorization (entering confidential data into vendor online system; strong attention to detail) Audit of Departure Funds Calculation (strong attention to detail) Communication of Departure Funds (strong written communication) Other Administrative Duties: creation of hardcopy files; create/print/scan various letters; mailing (internal and FedEx) of items


HS Diploma/GED (College degree preferred) 4+ years in administrative role within HR environment preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs High level knowledge of Microsoft Excel (to include v-lookup, pivot tables, an charts) Must be able to work in dynamic environment, multi-task, work independently, and complete daily accountabilities in a timely manner.
