Primary duties and responsibilities include:
Lead brand planning and segmenting, targeting, and positioning across all Sling TV programs
Launch new products, services, and features
Build and manage short, medium, and long-term budgets
Lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional teams based on business goals and priorities
Identify key consumer insights to be incorporated in omni-channel marketing programs
Report on brand performance, highlight areas for improvement, and act to close gaps
Ensure proper execution of plans through resource management
A successful Brand Manager will have the following:
Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in entertainment, sports, technology, and/or other fast-moving, consumer facing industries and/or combination of equivalent experience
Proven leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for innovation
Decisive and effective problem-solving ability using an analytical approach
Track record of building brands and experience managing campaigns and product launches; Mastery of the creative development process and tenets of effective marketing communications
Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team cooperation and promote enthusiasm
Ability to navigate effectively through complex issues up, down, and across the organization
Experience with campaign measurement and a solid underlying of metrics that drive a business; Experience building business cases for sponsorships and partner marketing programs
