COMPANY DESCRIPTION: Foresters Financial is a financial services firm with administrative and operations offices located in Edison, NJ and on Wall Street as well as regional sales offices located nationwide.
Coordinate various administrative reports, mailings and tasks for B/D Operations Vice President and Department Managers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate and maintain calendars, schedule meetings, arrange conference calls for management staff.
Oversee all advisory mailings (quarterly commentaries and client notifications).
Complete various department reports, regulatory reviews, and coordinate updates to the Business Continuity Plan (annual and ongoing updates).
Support and assist with ongoing department projects and internal/external audits.
Prepare materials for use in meetings and coordinate this activity with other company personnel as appropriate.
Perform other related duties as assigned, including but not limited to filing, updated manuals, and creating and maintaining spreadsheets, downloading Pershing reports, organizing, mailing packages, photocopying and collating, etc.
High school diploma
College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in a corporate setting in a clerical/administrative capacity
Strong MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills, with accurate typing skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to handle confidential and time sensitive material with absolute discretion and ease
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up skills
Motivated to accept responsibilities, show initiative and learn
Ability to effectively manage time, handle multiple tasks and respond to requests promptly
Ability to work overtime as necessary
