Thomson Reuters Marketing Manager in Eagan, Minnesota

Primary Objective:

This Marketing Manager role, on the Corporate Channel & Customer Marketing team, is focused on aggressively driving sales and revenue for the Corporate Investigative business through the effective development of strategy, marketing plans, and sales deployment.

The Corporative Investigative Marketing Manager is responsible for driving marketing, pricing, product lifecycle management, sales channel collaboration, and account strategy decisions for corporate investigative clients to drive sales, revenue and retention. These clients principally reside in financial services, insurance, and retail corporations who seek information solutions to address their AML (anti-money laundering) KYC/KYS (know your customer/know your supplier), and investigative needs. Our products are delivered through a variety of different platforms, including APIs and system integrations. Therefore, the ability to navigate & collaborate across 3rd party relationships is essential.

This is a rapidly growing and diverse market, with aggressive sales and retention targets – the Marketing Manager must be able to immediately drive the business, through close sales channel collaboration and effective team leadership, retain current customers through retention strategies and strategically grow the business for the future.

Major Areas of Accountability: * Responsible for driving sales and revenue and managing customer retention * Serve as the primary point and resource for sales and account management channel * Refine and maintain pricing and commercial policy for customers * Identify and communicate the voice of the customer – partnering closely with our Market Development and Product Management groups to acquire compelling marketing and thought leadership content, and with the Marketing Demand Generation team to innovate marketing tactics and enable robust lead generation * Drive go-to-market strategy for all major product launches and migrations for the Corporate Investigations market, in partnership with our Product Marketing organization * Analyze, assess, and interpret market information, including customer and competitive data, to inform marketing strategies, plans, and initiatives

Education and Experience: * Four-year college degree required; MBA preferred * Minimum 8-10 years marketing, sales, or client management experience with progressive responsibilities * Excellent ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and across the organizational matrix * People management experience * Business-to-business marketing experience preferred * Experience working with sales &/or client management channels preferred * Direct experience in a fraud, risk, investigations or information solutions preferred Knowledge and Skills: * Must be a proactive, action-oriented individual with a growth mindset * Must possess the ability to think strategically as well as execute effectively * Strong analytical and negotiating skills * Must possess a great attitude and a high degree of collaborative initiative with a desire to grow professionally * Strong orientation and focus on coaching & developing team, with a passion for contributing to a strong organizational culture * Understands Thomson Reuters’ and competitors’ legal products relevant to Corporate investigative customers * Manages deliverables to project plans and adheres to costs against budget guidelines * Excellent organizational, writing, and oral communication skill
