Prologis is seeking a Market Officer for Southern Germany headquartered in Düsseldorf .

Position Summary: You will contribute to the further, significant growth of our German business by focusing on the expansion and development of our activities in Southern Germany. This will be done by developing land/build projects, providing excellent services to our customers and thinking strategically to optimize marketing and expansion activities.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Source and evaluate real estate opportunities and recommend investments for internal approval
  • Deliver the successful implementation of real estate projects. This will include among other things the coordination and lead of required multi-disciplinary inputs

  • Negotiate land and building acquisitions/disposals, BTS transactions, leasing and releasing contracts with corporate clients

  • Regular aattendance and knowledgeable contribution to on-site meetings for marketing, development delivery and customer pitches
  • Leadership of external teams – construction (product delivery) and marketing to give direction and consultation on Prologis values and provide commercial calls to continually provide the best market competitive position and value sustainability
  • Work closely with and through internal stakeholders: Due Diligence, Property Management, Project Management and Accounting Departments to achieve the objectives of the business
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the design and construction aspects of our product and be able to relay those to our customers cohesively and tailored to their specific interests
  • Be able to talk consistently and effectively about Prologis Germany, our Ways of Working and the value we add
  • Develop a credible and knowledgeable personal brand that instils credibility and confidence in our customers and allows us to maximize our business winning opportunities
  • Become a logistics real estate industry ‘figure’, recognised as one of the best in class operators in our field and playing a key role in our team. This also requires a strong understanding of the supply chain industry and the internal/external pulls/pushes to our business
  • Be an ambassador for our brand values and be recognized for applying those in our Prologis activities
  • Be highly collaborative and a team player, helping and encouraging colleagues through data, market intelligence, information and opportunity swaps and to be demonstrably focussed on the team’s success

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in related discipline: Real-Estate
  • At least six years experience in a relevant commercial role related to the real-estate industry
  • Experience in negotiating and structuring real estate transactions, either from a development or investment standpoint
  • An in-depth thinker who is able to analyze investments and development opportunities, and build clarity around risk involved
  • MRICS qualified is a plus
  • Fluent in German and English
