Robert Half The Creative Group Director of Sales Marketing in Conroe, Texas
The Sales Marketing Director is responsible for creating interest and demand for a company's products or services through outbound activities to support business development in digital, display advertising, social media, email, and direct-mail, as well as manages marketing and promotional communications strategy for the company or product. In addition, the Director is responsible for concepts and copywriting collateral materials, advertising, direct mail, POP, etc. This candidate may also be the point of contact in maintaining the company's image and positioning. Candidate may work with the Creative Director for concepting and design, and coordinates the campaigns within other marketing departments, in particular with Channel Marketing and Inside Sales, to ensure a consistent lead generation program. Candidate may be responsible for preparing a detailed annual budget and for tracking and maintaining the budget. REQUIRED SKILLS - A minimum of 10 years in Marketing Sales Management with a proven track record of success in building sales and marketing teams. - Last 5-7 years must have been in Oil and Gas, specifically in manufacturing, working with Drilling Contractors and managing vendor relationships. - Global experience in outbound activities geared toward multi-cultural campaigns in the Middle East, Asia and the United States. - Must have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Product Engineering, Business Administration or Corporate Communications. MBA, PMP, or Master's is ideal. - Experience with utilizing an ERP for tracking and reporting (Global Shop a big plus). - Strong verbal and written communication to work cross-functionally with our global marketing teams.
