Tech Data - US Supervisor, Product Marketing in Clearwater, Florida

Supervises the day-to-day activities of a team of Cisco Services Solutions Associates is responsible for the teams productivity and development. Serves as an escalation point for the team in resolving complex matters. Works with management in formulating and implementing strategies that will deliver assigned financial results. Responsible for employee performance management (setting goals, observing and giving feedback, addressing performance issues, firing employees, etc.) and ensuring conformance to personnel policies and other internal regulations.

  • Serves as a working member of the team they lead as necessary.

  • Ensures staff members work efficiently as a team and continuously improve the quality of their work, providing service levels that meet or exceed customer expectations.

  • Assists manager in the development of overall goals and strategies for assigned programs and/or activities.

  • Prepare and analyze data/reports to insure team is on track to meet monthly /quarterly goals.

  • Maintains open communications with other Tech Data management and departments regarding opportunities and issues.

  • Deliver presentations to Business Partner and Tech Data management and executive level individuals.

  • Leads team to create unsolicited proposals that will generate incremental marketing investments and sales of assigned product lines.

  • Tracks and understands funding, budgets, accruals and other financial aspects of programs and/or activities.

  • Monitors program activities and deliverables to ensure timely and accurate completion.

  • Tracks marketing inventory and business partner slotting.

  • Plans, organizes, assigns, oversees and evaluates the work of team members to ensure the attainment of the goals and the adherence to the company shared values.

  • Trains, develops, coaches, recognizes, awards and interacts with staff to achieve high individual and team performance and engagement levels, job satisfaction and retention, and support professional growth within the organization.

  • Owns personnel processes and decisions.

  • Works in collaboration with division management and HR regarding: hiring, separations, performance management, and career development solutions.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned

Required Educational: High School/G.E.D.

Certifications: Inside and/or Outside Sales experience required Knowledge of Technology/Marketplace desired

Minimum of 3-6 years of relevant experience for internal candidates

Minimum of 4-7 years of specific industry experience for external candidates.
