Sr. Market Analyst


This position is responsible for supporting marketing strategy and execution by gathering, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting marketing, financial, and operating data; assisting in report preparation and presentation of research findings, creation and maintenance of project management documentation and serving as a subject matter expert for internal audiences.


Work with Marketing Services to ensure accurate reflection and execution of marketing strategy. Support marketing execution activities, such as supporting material development and campaign management. Apply analytic skills to the tracking of results and creation of reporting. May coordinate and manage technology and metrics. Perform analysis and interpret Regulatory & Legislative rules regarding projects and deliverables such as the Medicare Marketing Guidelines, CMS filing rules, Medicaid, and state/local filing requirements and apply to development of member marketing materials. Develop and maintain tools (style guide) for use in development of market materials to ensure compliance and regulatory guidance. Lead annual plan materials production life cycles. Accountable for material submission and review process. Perform quality checks on developed materials to ensure compliance with CMS & HFS regulatory guidance. Develop tools to track and maintain all facets of material market delivery. Research industry trends and competitor activity. Participate in project development and take responsibility for the creation and maintenance of project management related materials. Maintain and update inventory of developed materials. Manage multiple priorities across projects and work with staff to complete tasks on time. Collaborate with State plan owners and marketing staff. Interact one-on-one and in group settings with departmental/inter-departmental team members to identify issues, gather data, brainstorm, prioritize, discuss analytic approach, and share findings. Communicate with management and key stakeholders to keep them informed of project deliverables, status updates and issue resolution. Prepare clear and compelling project deliverables that present work approach and results to multiple internal audiences, in presentations, reports, dashboards, etc. Support the development of metrics and financial requirements for reporting and budget needs. Analyze data utilizing databases and statistical methods and tools. Support projects and stakeholder relationships. Manage and conduct data collection and baseline analytic work. Synthesize and interpret research and analysis findings in light of project frameworks and hypotheses. Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc. Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies. Maintain complete confidentiality of company business. Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.


Bachelor Degree and two years of experience marketing, strategic planning, research, project management, or health care industry OR five years of experience in marketing, research, project management, strategic planning, or health care industry. Experience interacting with personnel of multiple departments and at various levels in the organization. Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques and industry trends. Experience developing reports and modeling. Analytical and information synthesis skills. Knowledge of databases. Knowledge of statistical methodology and tools. Experience interpreting business and financial information. Verbal and written communication and organization skills. PC proficiency to include MS Office products.


Experience with Medicaid and/or Medicare Member Materials. Health insurance or healthcare industry experience. Process centric and detailed oriented with strong project management skills
