I. JOB SUMMARY

The Director, Synvisc HCP/Payer Marketing will lead the strategic development and implementation of physician and payer marketing programs for the Synvisc franchise. This position will report directly to the Biosurgery Marketing Lead and will work closely with the North America General Medicines marketing team and key functions to develop and execute the strategic brand plan. The position requires a highly motivated individual that is able to work independently, think strategically and collaborate transversally in order to accomplish complex deliverables

II. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

▪ Execution of strategic and tactical plans to achieve maximum business objectives: sales, share, and profit.

▪ Identify payer pull-through opportunities to support sales force activities, including management and development of the Pull-Through Optimizer and identification of additional tools and technology to maximize visibility and performance tracking of payer-pull through.

▪ Manage payer support creative agency budget and activities

▪ Collaborate with North America General Medicines payer marketing colleagues to build the payer strategy and account executive deployment plan & tactical resources

▪ Collaborate with North America General Medicines payer marketing colleagues to develop and implement a VA/DoD strategy and associated field support materials

▪ Develop & implement new Synvisc franchise value-based selling tools for the North America Market Access and Field Sales Force for payers and large organized customers in coordination with USMA, payer marketing, medical and global colleagues

▪ Evaluate existing direct contracting strategy and optimize for shifting payer & competitive landscape

▪ Identify & evaluate direct contracting strategies of new competitive entrants and develop mitigation strategies

▪ Lead strategic development and tactical deployment of the MySynvisc platform and manage associated $9 million A&P budget

▪ Identify opportunity & develop appropriate non-HCP promotional campaign and associated resources

▪ Participate in business development evaluations as directed

▪ Travel approximately 20%

This job is an individual contributor role, and requires a 4 yr degree and 7-10 yrs min of applicable work experience.

At least 7+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas (or comparable) will be required:

▪ Marketing

▪ Market access and/or payer marketing and contacting experience a plus/preferred

▪ Buy and Bill/Specialty Pharmacy knowledge and experience a plus/preferred

▪ Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects and priorities

▪ Strong organizational skills

▪ Strong written and verbal communication skills
