As a SeniorAdministrativeAssistant at REI you will workcollaboratively with theadministrativeteam to support Merchandising’s goals and initiatives with accurate, timely and proactiveadministrativeservices. This position contributes to a fast-paced, smoothly run organization by utilizing effectivecommunication,teamwork, organizational skills, accuracy, creativity, innovation, and productivity. This position will provide a level of focused support and knowledge to specificsub-departments as assigned.Responsibilities in this area require workingindependently,maintainingconfidentiality, and using good judgment while providing operational,administrative, project, and a high level of IT support with a minimum amount of direction. This position will perform other duties as assigned by the management team, and will workcollaboratively to provide overflow and backup support for otherAdministrativeteam members and their relatedsub-departments as needed.
You'll get to:
Provide administrative, project, and office technology support to divisional vice presidents, directors and managers within assigned sub-departments
Manage calendaring functions for vice presidents, directors and managers
Plan and execute team travel, team events and meetings for sub-departments
Prepare presentations and assists in building agendas and meeting materials
Coordinate and support activities such as office moves, IT support, budget reconciliation, new hire onboarding
Reconcile and track financial reports and spending
Identify savings opportunities and participate in budget management when appropriate
Pursue process improvements to reduce resource time
Troubleshoot PC/software issues and acts as liaison to the IT Department
Provide overflow and backup support to other Administrative team members
Execute special projects as assigned by management
Bring your passion and expertise
5+ years administrative experience
Expert user in workplace productivity tools focusing on Microsoft Office products
Experience with project site design and maintenance (e.g. SharePoint)
Is able to effectively troubleshoot office technology issues
Is able to effectively interact and represent REI with internal and external company contacts
Experience managing high levels of travel coordination and expense support
Delivers effective communications; verbally, written, and over the phone
Exercises discretion, high level of confidentiality, and diplomacy at all times
