Fellowship Senior Living Administrative Assistant - Hospice - Part Time in Basking Ridge, New Jersey

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for a number of routine clerical duties, ensuring that work flows in a coordinated and efficient manner. Responsible for the timely and accurate collection and entry of patient data, maintenance of patient records and billing information.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides assistance to the Administrator and clinical team, preserving the confidential nature of items of which he/she has knowledge. Maintains the files and patient records, ensuring necessary documentation is collected. Answers telephone inquiries and channels them appropriately. As necessary, sends physician's orders for signature. Keeps current log of what is sent and tracks receipt of signed document. Plans, prioritizes, organizes and completes work to meet established objectives. Completes and submits all documentation in a timely manner according to department policy. Attends in-service and education as required. Adheres to Hospice guidelines rules regulations and in accordance with established procedures. Assists on special projects and other duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Patient records management and experience in medical office setting Experience in managing multiple priorities, administrative coordination, and logistics Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task with great follow-up skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Join Us!
