Project Administrator/Administrative Assistant The GPD Group specializes in architectural and engineering design, planning, and telecommunications. GPD is currently seeking a Part-Time Project Administrator in our Atlanta, GA office location. The ideal candidate will possess: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or an Associate's Degree in Business preferred. Recent graduate or 1-2 years experience in office setting. Exposure to the design or construction industry a plus.Must possess excellent communication and organization skills with the ability to multi-task.Candidate MUST be proficient with Microsoft Office, especially proficient in using Excel.Ability to work with minimal supervision, maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.Willing and eager to learn new things and help where needed.Ability to travel locally as needed. Valid Driver's License is required. Responsibilities to include but not limited to:Assists Project Managers/Project Coordinators with construction administration such as preparing building dept response letters and shop drawing and RFI responses to contractors.Provides due diligence support including researching building permit requirements, completing project feasibility reports, making permit submittals and following up on progress with local municipalities.Assists the Project Managers with proposal preparation, purchase order follow up, preparing analytical reports in Excel.Manages the front desk, greeting visitors, receiving deliveries and making small package shipments, answering general phone calls and routing them to the appropriate people.Assists the office manager in general support of the office - copying, filing, scanning or printing project plans, planning local community/charity events and office functions, work with HR and IT depts. as needed, ordering supplies, and general office organization, etc.Supports the entire office of approximately 15 people.
