DESCRIPTION Your analytical skills, project management experience, and attention to detail are needed as an essential partner in executing and managing advertising sales initiatives. As an Initiative Analyst for the local and regional sales divisions, you will analyze and provide recommendations, manage project plans, and vet new opportunities alongside the Strategic Initiatives team to support sales and revenue growth. You will utilize market research and intelligence, dive deep into product development, and support your recommendations with data analysis to guide initiative projects towards maximized profitability. This role reports directly to the Strategic Initiatives Manager. * 70%: SUPPORT REVENUE INITIATIVE, PROJECT DEVELOPMENT AND EXECUTION * 20%: PRODUCT AND PROCESS MANAGEMENT; MONITORING AND REPORTING ON PROJECTS AFTER IMPLEMENTATION * 10%: OTHER STRATEGIC SUPPORT DUTIES, AS NEEDED TASKS * Provide analytical support for designated sales initiatives including, but not limited to, market/competitive analysis, historic revenue performance/variance, strategic pricing models with all possible outcomes, and target account building * Ensure the timely and accurate adherence to each initiative project timeline; hold stakeholders accountable for deliverables, schedule updates/meetings, organize effective internal communication plans * Work with Advertising Operations teams to Implement advertising initiative tracking * Monitor and report on current sales initiative performance including Boost, Ninja, ACT and $100k+ pitches; responsible for revenue tracking documentation twice per year including report distribution to managers and directors * Product manage existing products and/or processes including magazine, native & sponsorships, and serve as a liaison to IdeaBar * Support Strategic Initiatives Manager in all initiative, project and product launch tasks including strategic planning and analysis, vendor negotiations, aggregation/presentation of marketing research, prototype development, promotion plans, pricing models and P&L development * Identify and present opportunities for increased revenue and profitability beyond existing categories and market shareQUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor s degree Two years' work experience demonstrating the desired skill set * Employer's Job# 1712882Please visit job URL for more information about this opening and to view EOE statement.
